| Where are some good cities to visit besides Moscow and Petersburg (already been to those)? I’m not looking to go check out historical sites and stuff, I just want to experience some different cities and check out the discos/nightlife. I was thinking Yekaterinburg, Murmansk, maybe Nizhni Novgorod… But I don’t know much about these places so I just wanted to get some opinions, and possibly suggestions on places I might be interested in. I don’t want to go someplace that’s more about looking at nature and grass than city life. |

Why dont visit all of them?
You'll have to visit Moscow anyway, as most likely you will fly there.
It depends on what are you looking for in Russia? What are you interested in?
St.Petersburg is very beautiful.
Yekaterinburg is famous as the tzar family murdering place. |

So if you are a tsar, do not visit it
Sochi is a resort town. Barnaul is famous for its mountains. Every major city has its night clubs and discos.
If you spend time outside of Moscow, you will find that your money lasts longer.
Kazan is older city with a large population. |

| Yarolsavl is good. I went to a pretty good club, I think it was called "Avante Garde" or something like that. I guess there is a good club in Kostroma too. |
