The Russian post is unreliable. If it arrives at all it could take several weeks. If your invitation goes missing then you lose the $30 it costs. I don't think you'll find any company willing to send it by regular post.
By the way, Way to Russia doesn't want to charge you anything . WTR is an information resource. The services advertised on the website are provided by other companies. |

I don t know yet if i ve to take the risk or not (to send the invitation letter in BEijing).
because 60 USD it s a lot to send a letter. That s lot of money (To send a letter from france to china, it costs 1USD).
In the website, it s written that you ve the choice, and after you signed up it s compulsory to pay 60 USD for the shipping because they told you that the russian post is not reliable.
I wasn t supposed to know that. |

I pay 3 times that amount to have an invitation couriered to Australia.
There is a 500g minimum charge and that is what you have to pay for a smaller than A4 piece of paper. The advantage is that you can track it all the way and it takes days and not weeks or months. It really is the only option if you need to provide an original document. |

Yes there something wrong on that web site.
1 The invitation (tourist or business) are sent from russia
2 It s written in the website that you can choose, between the standart post (4 USD) and safety chipping (between 60 and 80 USD)
3 Upon waytorussia..rusian post is not reliable (maybe it s true, i don t contest that), with standart post, it take weeks to reach another country and sometime it s getting lost ,
They gonna tell you that they can t send official letter by standart post
Conclusion: There no choice, be ready to spend at least 60 USD (moreover your invitation fee). I repproavh that to waytorussia, they have to be more clear on that point. It was a really bad surprise for me and i can t cancel.
I hope they include in the website the fees upon your shipping destination |
