| I'm looking for some long term apartment rentals. I know there are a lot of topics on apartment rentals, but they all seem to be short term. I want to rent by the month with a 6month to 1year lease. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

Dear xxatti,
Have a look at the site of an English-language newspaper St.Petersburg Times - a lot of offers at their real estate section with connections to agents

| I would be more inclined to get something short term on the net, and then suss out all the possibilities once in situ. |

Definately one agency NOT to deal with is Pulford on Moika.
They F*** you over big time. But use fancy words and empty promises.
Not only my experience (this last month) but other people here too. |

Another agency which didn't even show up on a previously agreed appointment, and kind of went "closed" when I came here, (even the phone was not working), but that may have been due to this being the tax time here
they are open again now, is Oksana's on Nevskyi. |

In response to pete8400 I would suggest that it would be beneficial were he to withdraw his comments. He has left an apartment without paying his rent, has retained the keys, cannot explain missing equipment, and wishes us to talk to his solicitors. However he cannot provide a name or address!
Libel is of course a serious issue. |

Now the agency talks...
After a month of playing a person, is it not normal that one goes to the lawyers, because one is fed up with an agency which does not take responsabilities for destroying equipment, putting a person in quasi derelict spaces etc etc?
Practises like these being employed by this agency would never be tolerated somewhere else.
So, Pulford agency, instead of trying to "play" here, my solicitors are in the process contacting you, I don't want to deal with you in any way but an official way.
So I would suggest you keep this in the legal field. |
