Hello and thanks for reading,
I've read the post on residency and it was very helpful, but specificly...
I'm American and I've married a Russian in the U.S.
We need to go to Moscow so she can finish school. (She's is already there)
We, hopefully, plan on staying there for about 2 years.
I can't seem to find any concrete information for myself living there legally though..
We assumed that I'd be able to get a tourist or business visa, and while there, adjust my status as a citizen since we're married.. but the more I look into it, That's not such a solid plan.
So, lol.. I really need some guidance.
Does the fact that we've married in the US count for anything in Russia?
Do we need to re-marry there? If so, does that constitute an eligibility to reside?
I can't find any real info anywhere else.. so anything helps!
