Hello everyone!
I'm looking for a nice apartment in Moscow, I have two other travelers with me. I prefer family run to anything else, as long as the people are polite and is located in a good location(Can't go wrong with the Kremlin and Red Square) If you can only find a two bedroom apartment, that is fine, as long as they don't mind a third traveler. One of us can bunk on a chair or coach, rotate beds if you will. (Do they allow this?) We'll need them as an invitation to the country as well.

I'm not going till next year, but it's never to early to find a location. It'll make budgeting for the trip that much easier.

Thank you!!!!!

hi Smile Moscow is a good choice:beautiful and interesting, but as far as i know, it's not the best place to see Russia, the city is crowed with people and reminds New York:people are angry and vulturous, money spoiled them as it is the most expensive cities in the world!!!! If you want to see Moscow, St. Peterburg and other russian (provincial)cities, which preserved the national cultural traditions, there is no need to go to Moscow, you can do it from some quite nearby city. If you want an advice e-mail me at masha@syfier.com. I'll be glad to help.

Have a look at www.flatlink.ru - I have cooperated with them couple of times, they are a reliable company with good offers in the very centre.

There are plenty of options here:

Including FlatLink's apartments and 'family-run' apartments.

I`m from Moscow and I do not really believe the prices, mentioned at the above listed sites. I rent 1 bedroom apartment quite far from center (5 metro stations) for $1,500 a month and this is average current market price today for long term renting. Renting for a short term is much more expensive, so i do not believe that you`ll be able to rent apartment just in the center (Pushkinskaya, Tverskaya, etc) for 90$ a night. Probably offering fake ptices is just the way the agencies here attract clients and of course there is their commission above this price. So be careful.
Finding a deal close to Kremlin will be really expensive as property in Moscow is much more expensive than New York for instance. Today average cost of 1 sq m of apartment in Moscow is 5 thousands USD. So my advise - try to rent at least in the area of Sadovoe ring.

The prices on WayToRussia are completely accurate and there are no hidden fees. We make a special point of searching out the best deals in Moscow. Prices for St Petersburg apartments vary by season, but this is always explained below the advertised prices.
