I have used your service in the past and was very happy with it (I had a tourist visa). Now I am looking to get a multiple-entry business visa for Russia, because I need more flexibility in my travel dates and will visit Russia several times in the next year.

I would be pleased if you could clarify a few things for me about this business visa, because I'm a bit confused:

1. Can I really get a business visa even if I don't have business in Russia?

2. I want to get a multiple-entry business visa. How does this work with my travel dates? Do I have to announce each travel date to the Russian consulate? Or only the first travel date on the visa application form?

3. I don't know how long I will stay in Russia each time. Does this matter, as long as it's not more than 6 months each time?

4. Is processing time for the business visa currently 15 days?

Thank you for your help!Smile

I too would love to know this information. I have met the most perfect lady from Russia. We met on vacation (not in Russia) and I now wish to go be with her. I am planning on going for at least a month around September, October...and then again a couple months later, hopefully to enjoy OUR Russian Wedding.

From everything I read, a Business visa is the way I need to go with multiple entries in a year time frame. As with bonkel, I do NOT know the exact dates of my travel and not sure exactly how long I will stay each time. I know the first time will be about a month, but if I am very happy there, it may turn into 2 or so months... I need that flexibility... if it exists...

Also, on the business visa, from what I read, I can stay anywhere? She obviously wants me to stay with her..and that will save me 1000's of dollars, thus, allowing me to stay longer.. Is this a problem?

I have never been to Russia before, but it is my lifetime's dream vacation... And now that I have someone there for me... I am getting quite good at my Russian, and do NOT want to mess up anything I have to do to get there and stay there for a while.

Not sure if it matters, but I would be going to Irkutsk.

Thanks for any help!!!

Greg

hi!
I just got a multiple entry business visa using Way To Russia so I can help you :
1. yes you can get such visa even if you haven't got any business in Russia (it's my case). But every time you go to Russia, on the migration card, you need to write "business" under "purpose of stay"

2. when you order the business invitation, you just put on arrival date the first date you want to go to Russia, and on departure date the same date one year later. once you get the visa, you don't need to announce it to the consulate anymore. The only limit you have is 90 days of stay each 180 days (so not more than 3 consecutive months, and not more than 6 months a year)

3. no it doesn't matter, see above

4. processing time to get the invitation : 20 business days, then processing time from visa application depends on your consulate. Here in Switzerland : 5 business days
