| Hello-ill be coming to st.pete in september for 1st time.Staying for 5 days.I am unsure about passing customs.I will have clothes,a digital camera,some cash(under a thousand)but also i would be bringing a diamond ring(value 1,ooo.oo us $).Do i need to write down or declare the ring?Can i just leave it in the small bag i will be carrying?Im not trying to hide anything nor will i be returning with it.I just dont want to get into any trouble if i dont mention it.Can i go thru the green line or do i need to show it?I just want to act correctly.Thank you.scott b. |

You'll be just fine - go through green. Simply declare the cash you have on the customs form and all will be good. You do not need to declare personal property. |
