PK2008 Just Starting Joined: 29 Jun 2008 Posts: 1	Posted: Sun Jun 29, 2008 11:03 am    Post subject: Country of application for letter of invitation Hello, I am travelling from Thailand, Cambodia, Thailand amd Mongolia to Russia. Two questions: 1.) Which country will give me the least problems of the Russia visa application? (how long does processing take?) 2.) In the application for the letter of invitation there is asked from what country you are applying. Does it matter if you fill in Thailand, but after that apply for the visa in Cambodia for instance? Thanks in advanced for your answer. Peter

greg222 VIP Joined: 15 Feb 2005 Posts: 599	Posted: Mon Jun 30, 2008 6:01 am    Post subject: There's not a lot of information on the different consulates since the latest rule change (number one on this page): http://blogs.waytorussia.net/item/107/ I'm sure you would find an agency in Mongolia who could do it, but it might be expensive. Otherwise, Cambodia is probably a good option as it's not too difficult to get a 90 day visa for Cambodia.
