we are going to visit Russia from 8 to 20 August. we have a tourist voucher and invitation from an hostel of St. Petersburg, in which we are going to be from 8 to 15 August. The last 5 days we will be in Moscow. On the invite the cities to be visited are both, but there's only the St. Petersburg Hostel mentioned as hotel (accomodation) for 7 days. I have apart the booking confirmation(email) from the hostel in Moscow, but it's printed by me on another paper, not in the same invite. Could it be a problem for the embassy( i mean, should also the Moscow hotel be indicated on the invite?) or it's normal?
thanks a lot for your help!! |

| I'd put only the information from the invitation on the application form. No need to complicate things. I can't imagine it would be a problem. |

On the whole, the question is : If one person want to visit 10 cities in Russia and all of them are written on the invitation, should also 10 hotels have to be mentioned as accomodations in the invitation?
Some people just gone at the embassy, told to me that they want to know all the cities you will go and all your accomations:That's the problem.
So, your answer means: Do not write on the application form that you will go in Moscow, and put just Sant Petersburg and its hotel on it? |

| No, put both St Petersburg and Moscow on the application form, since they're both on the invitation. I personally wouldn't mention the Moscow hostel because it's not on the invitation (for all they know you could just be doing a day trip to Moscow). But I really couldn't see it making any difference either way. I've never heard of a visa application being rejected over such a thing. |

As I imagined, it has been a problem. They didn't accept the invitation cause they wanted the hotel of moscow written on, as the cities to be visited are both. They also pretend a clear signature and stamp on the invitation. Now i need a new one. Hope next we will be luckier!!! |
