Hi,

I'm going to take the #25 Sibiryak train from Novosibirsk to Moscow later this year. According to the WTR site, a second class ticket should cost 236USD if you buy it from a ticket office in Russia.

I have a friend in Russia and I asked him to get the ticket for me. He checked out the ticket price on rzd.ru and told me it was 10400rubels, about 455 USD.

Can anyone explain why this might be, and which prize sounds the most reasonable?

Thanks!

The prices on Way to Russia are outdated. The rzd.ru price is correct.
