Hello everyone, I have been invited to work in Russia as a lecturer at Chita State University and have received the (single-entry) invitation on which 'Lecturer' is written against 'Purpose of visit' ('Prepodovatel' against 'Tsel poezdki'). I have worked at the uni before but the regulations seem to have changed since then. The question is, which type of visa should I apply for? And do I need a current AIDS test certificate? Thanks in advance, James

I omitted the important bits of info: I have a UK passport and will be applying for the visa in the UK. Having spoken to a couple of peope now it seems that because the invitation type is 'OR' I need a working visa, and that nowadays (annoyingly) I do need an HIV test too, but please correct me if you know otherwise.
