hi everyone!
my friend and i are planning to go on the trans manchurian for around a month. we're starting the trip in st petersburg around august 1st up to beijing.
we're both argentinian, and i'll ask for my visa at the consulate in buenos aires but my friend is currently living in paris, so she'll do it there.
there's so much information online regarding the visa & invitation that we're quite confused.
we're planning to make an hotel reservation for the first nights in st petersburg before the trip, but we would like to look for the accomodation in the other cities (moscow, baikal, etc) on the road.
so my questions are:
is it ok if we get the tourist invitation from waytorussia by email but only providing the hotel reservation for the first nights? or do we need to mention the accomodation we're going to choose for the 30 days?
do we need to show all the train tickets when applying for the visa? we only have the plane ticket to st petersburg, but we would like to buy the train tickets later...
thanks in advance for you help!

Argentina and Russia recently made a visa-free agreement, but I don't know when this will be implemented.

So to begin, I would contact the Consular office of the Russian Embassy in Buenos Aires, and ask whether visas will be necessary for your August trip. If you are lucky, you can skip the expense and hassle!

If you will need visas, make a list of all the cities where you might spend 3 working days or more - on the visa application, you can usually list a maximum of 5 or 6 cities.

Put this same list on your visa application, and your order for an invitation (visa support).

As far as I know, the Consulates don't care about tickets, or any other evidence of your itinerary - what they want is the invitation letter.
