I'm from Alabama (USA) and heard about a cafe in Moscow called the Alabama Cafe. It is said to have all kinds of memorabilia from the state including car tags, etc. I would love to learn more about this cafe. I work for a new magazine called "Weird Alabama" and this sounds like a fun piece to follow up on. Can anyone offer any information or direct me to a website that would have info. Thanks!

Address: 7/2 Stoleshnikov pereulok
Metro: Teatralnaya
Tel: 229 - 2412

Alabama is a very cozy jazz club in the heart of Moscow. Great stylish place with comfy sofas, not pricy food. Live concerts start at 9 p.m. Tickets: 100 Rub.

Sounds nice! Do you know anything about the origins of the club? Are the owners from Alabama? I hoping there's a story possibility for our magazine. Thanks for the information.
