Can someone please tell me what "etot" means in Russian? It is a nickname I used to have and when i searched it on Google and Youtube, it seemed like in was commonly used in some sentences. Thanks in advanced for the help.

"Этот" = this, "тот"=that

Detail: этот (etot) is the word for "this" when referring to a male, or an inanimate object whose noun is masculine (all Russian nouns are masculine, feminine, or neuter).
