Unfortunately, the website just says 0$, which sounds good, but it's hard to believe. Any idea how I can find out the real price? Thanks! Jonathan Neve.

There is a link on this website. Eurolines have modern pleasant buses versus the the Russian Junk bus. It will take you right downtown in St Petersburg also.

Interesting... But is it comfortable enough to be able to sleep on the bus? The advantage of the train with couches (as I imagine it anyway), is that at least you can lay down to sleep. No? My last visit, this new-years, I paid 42 LVL (about $87) for the one-way ticket from Riga to Pskov, in kupé. If you travel in platzkart, you will pay about half that price. They have raised the prices quite a lot the last year, a year ago the same journey cost me 28 LVL. But, I'd say that you'll pay ~90LVL from Riga to St Petersburg in kupé.

The most reasonable - according to my experience - 4-berth compartment - is available at 55.31 (about $115) per person
