I would like information about reliable travel agents, located in Novosibirsk, that make trips to Altay.
The reason is that my girlfriend and I are planning a 5 day trip there in the beginning of August. We would love to do some trekking, rafting, horseback riding and more. Would it be a good thing to hire a guide? Where from in that case? Is it advisable to live in tent there?
It would be great to hear if you have any experience/advice on this matter! |

hi,
there are really huge number of companies making trips to altai. Some of them, who have english version of site:

http://eng.olympia-reisen.ru/
Many russians who travel to altai live in tents there. So, it's quite normal, if you don't have some extra comfort requestû ( i - do  ).
yes, i think it will be better to find a guide. not hire, but maybe go with some russians, if you have any contacts or friends. |
