Hi everyone! I've been back and forth reading this site for the past couple years, but this is the 1st time I've ever actually posted something.

Anyways, I applied for visa support online and they sent me an invitation through email. The invite is for a 1 month tourist visa (I'm visiting my boyfriend). This is the site I got it from: http://www.russia-visa.com/ . My question is: Has anyone ever had any experience with getting an invitation through them, or at least a company similar to it? What are the possibilities that the embassy will grant me a visa based on this type of letter of support? (I've been to Russia 3 times in the past 2 years, no criminal record, and live in D.C. and am not a man Wink ). I guess I'm just a little worried that it's not "official" enough or something---in the past all my invitations have been directly sent from Russia by a specific program, school, etc. and took a long time. I guess I'm nervous due to how simple and easy and fast they were able to get the invitation to me. Plus, I don't want to get rejected based on a support letter that is lacking since I have a time constraint and can't wait another [insert number] months before I being able to apply again. Plus, money is also a factor... Wink

So basically, someone tell me your experiences (bad/good) with this and any ideas, info, whatver you have on this topic.

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance. Smile))))))[/i]

you'll be fine don't worry about it...it's just a tourist visa! You can write your own cover letter too...just state where you are going...and when...and for how long...and your purpose is tourism. Pretty simple and you'll be fine

I hope so...maybe I am kinda over-concerned. I've never dealt with a *gasp* simple tourist visa----I've always had to go to Russia for a much longer time (like a year) and that was a pain in the ass. Perhaps I'm just traumatized. Confused Embarassed
