I have heard, but it's probably totally wrong, that you can get a problem to get a new visa to Russia after you have married a russian woman at the Zags????

On the other hand, if you decide to get a private (visit to friends and relatives) visa it should be slightly easier. I've never heard about such a thing but it just doesn't make sense. Just go by 1-year business visas if you plan on staying in Russia for a long time.

You were misinformed. My wife is French and after we married she was still getting the tourist and business visas (invitations done through this site), and never had a single problem. So, I can tell you from my own experience that it's OK.
