Hi there

Anybody know if Red Square is still closed?
I'd really like to visit Lenin's Tomb and St Basil's Cathedral as well - they both look close to Red Square on the map. Anybody know the situation with these places?

Thanks for any information you might have.

With elevated security for the elections, and the recent bombing in southern Russia, Red Square might still remain closed to the public. Perhaps one of the site admins can post a message when it is open.

Lenin's Masouleum will remain close for several months due to technical reasons.
St.Basils cathedral is open for public during the daytime if the square is open.
Red Square is usualy open for public. They close it just for cleaning and during some special events.
There is no specail schedule. Just go there and check if it is open.
