After I posted, I realized I made a mistake. My Russian is ploha! And I really should use the cyrillic keyboard shouldn't I!?

My Babuszka is from Ukraine. She told me stories of war. She saw her friend's dad get shot by nazi soldier. Her friend was killed next. Next day she found her friend in her room with a pole through her chest and her head blown off. Crying or Very sad

One of my favorite childhood memories is opening the Babushka-doll and finding infinitely more Babushkas inside....

beware the Soviet babushka. She'll kick you in the nuts in the subway train,
then scold you "bisovisnie mushina" while you're bent over in pain.
