Hey there, Does anybody know whether one needs an "INVITATION" for Canadian citizens to obtain a tourist Chinese visa in Moscow? On their website it would appear that everyone does, but I was wondering whether that requirement is for the citizens of the Russian Federation only. Thanks.

You are talking in the time of 1960's I think. The only invitation you would need is: $$$. Sure there will be a Chinese Embassy/Consulate in Moscow. By the way I am looking for a Russian speaking travel partner from Moscow to BeiJing. Myself speak Chinese + English well. Would you be interested? -- Herbert
