A discrepancy exists:
On WAY TO RUSSIA.NET Main web page, under the heading:
SCHEDULES AND PRICES
SIBELIUS
TRAIN #36, Departing 7:42 from Helsinki
Arriving St. Petersburg 14:23
ONE WAY TICKET, SECOND CLASS= $ 72 U.S.D. each person
( iN A 4 BED COMPARTMENT)

Yet, When I click on BUY TICKETS and input the same information, I get
SIBELIUS
TRAIN #36
Departs Helsinki 18/07/05 07:42
Arrives St Petersburg same day 14:26
Class and Price= 2nd @ $122 USD each person
Will someone from Russian Rail or this site please clarify this discrepancy and how if the lesser price is possible how I can input to purchase that ticket ? |

| The fares differ throughout the year, July would be the high season. |

| Yeah it also depends on who you book through. last summer I asked a few times at diff places and got a wide range of prices. never got one as low as $72 though. That would be a GREAT deal. |

| Buy it when you get to Helsinki. I went in June last summer, and the train was virtually empty. If you wait, you'll save money, and the train will not be sold out. |
