Hello:
I am planning a trip to russia for this summer as a backpacke, that'll include moscow, st. pete and the trans-siberian route. As a backpacker what is the budget range one should carry in Russia for a summer long term?

Hi,

Staying in hostels (where available) or homestays or cheap hotels I would say you will spend around 15-20$ per night. Food - 10$ per day (self katering in Big cities and eating in the cafes in towns).

Good luck
