Hi, I'm a 15 year old English teenager, who is learning Russian at school for a certificate in it. I want to know if Russians are pleased and will take an active role to help you out, if you speak to them, or whether they'll ignore you.

Are they friendly or aggresive??

I'm planning to visit Russia in a few months with my family, to test out my Russian.

Thanks

Sturdjos

depends on russians Smile the same situation with englishmen: sometimes they friendly, sometimes - not
but I suppose everyone will be pleased to see english teenager who's trying to speak to them in russian
by the way, correct your signature: you should write "Английский подросток, изучающий русский" Wink

Everyone is generally very pleased and impressed when you can talk to them in their language.
