Hi,

I'm trying to get my trip organised. I only have one week and fly in from Brussels to St. Petersburg. Booked 3 nights in a hostel in St.Petersburg, no problem so far but on day four 'till day six I'll have to go Riga (bus/train) but I'll Return the last night for a flight back to Brussels. (2 entries).
Will I apply for a Business Visa ? or is there any way I can obtain a second tourist (transit?) visa for that last night and day...?
Could anyone help me out here, because 'till now I got the most confusing answers!

Best regards,
Iwan

I think you need a double entry business visa. I'm sure you won't be able to enter Russia twice on a normal tourist visa.

I would advise to change your flight for Brussels - Riga return, like this you can get a normal tourist visa. If you can't change your flight and you don't want to get a double entry visa, maybe you could take a bus from Riga to Brussels -- I know they have direct services, although it takes about 24 hours, but you'll pay not much - about $60 US maybe.
