I'm considering traveling to Primorye and exploring tiny, out of the way coastal towns (presumably fishing villages) and interior ( I assume logging) towns. I'm also interested in the city of Slavyanka, which I located on a recently unearthed map of the Soviet Union. What can you tell me about transportation, lodging, culture, safety?(I'm a middle aged woman traveling alone)
Also, I've come across some earlier references in this forum stating that Vladivostock is unfriendly compared to Khabarovsk.

Hello!

I assume that you have already got back from your trip to Primorye. But if you ever decide to go to other parts of Primorsky kray or need any information about it, please feel free to contact me.

My e-mail is: m_vladi@mail.ru or

I work in the company called "CSV" which stands for ("Come & See Vladivostok")

Good luck,
