Hi!

We are planning to go to Beijing from Budapest this summer, for one month. On our way to Beijing we would go by train, not all the time with the Trans-Siberian Express, but with Fast Trains as well. Do anybody knows where can we find online the summer timetables and the current prices for both types of trains? We would come back from Beijing by plane, but it seems incredibly expensive. So I would also like to know if anybody could help us finding a cheap one way flight from Irkutsk to Moscow. I have seen ads about this on this website, but from last year. How can we book our flights from Budapest?
Thanks in advance!

The train schedules you can find on this site, at Transport section (see menu to the left). Also, you can try http://www.timetable.tsi.ru/index.php?lang=eng&w=1280&h=1024, note, that schedules often change, so it's better to start looking for them about 45 days before departure.

Cheap airline tickets you can find at http://avia.waytorussia.net
If you're less than 25 yo and have an ISIC card, then you can get up to 50% discount. Just make your booking through the site and send a message to the booking agent that you would like to get a student price and that you have an ISIC card. If you don't have it, you can buy it in any office of STA travel (see http://www.statravel.co.uk worldwide for $7 (you'll need your student ID).
