Is there any locked safe place where you can put money to deposit? It is easier to take care of safety when there are two or more people travelling, but I was planning to go on my own. Do you have newx on this, grateful to hear. Ilkka

It's better to have some kind of money-bag or purse and always have it with you, especially if you leave the train even for a few minutes. Also, if you have a lower berth, you can put your stuff under, so nobody will be able to access it (obviously because you sit and sleep on it). If you have an upper berth, you can put your stuff on top in the specially designated space. But in both cases, if you're not careful enough stuff may be stolen (although it doesn't happen almost). There are no lockers.
