What is the black market? Is it a place where to shop? Is it a person? Where can it be found? Is it dangerous?

The black market is not a market where you can come and buy something! It's a system of payments and money transfers hidden from taxation.

And yes, at Unona rynok and Apraksin dvor - black money are in use.
You can say it is "black money" if you pay for something and do not get a sales check or a cash voucher from the salesperson.

OneWay,
I have to sort of disagree with the other post. The Black Market is where people sell items that are legal, but mostly illegal, and without any taxes being paid. The Black Market can be a place with many people involved (like a flea market), or it can be just one individual on the street selling things out of the trunk of a car, or under a trench coat. The people involved in this activity usually pay protection to the local Mafia, which in turn pays police officials to look the other way.
I know this because I have been to two of the markets in St.Pete, at different places, and different months. They were selling weapons, cases of stolen cigarettes, porno, just name it they had it. No, I would never tell anyone where they could be found. Besides, they are never in the same place like a legal business. I wouldn't want to know that I was partly responsible if someone I sent got hurt. AND yes it can be dangerous, forget about it!
