Can anyone tell me about the hotel? Is it nice? Is it convenient to the metro? Thanks, John

Eugenia Frequent Guest Joined: 17 Mar 2004 Posts: 21 Location: St. Petersburg, Russia	Posted: Sat Apr 03, 2004 9:04 pm    Post subject: It's a 10-15 minutes walking distance from Sovietskaya hotel to "Technologicheskiy Institute" metro station (2 stops on the metro to the city center, see metro map http://www.saintpetersburgtours.ru/metro.html). The hotel is a huge soviet building, but renovated rooms are 3*-4* and very nice. For pictures see the official site of Sovietsakaya http://eng.sovetskaya.com/about/
