Yeah yeah, don't laugh. At any rate, I was wondering if there are more / less reliable brands over there. Like in the US most people use Trojans, are they available in Russia? Going to be there over the summer and i'm just trying to be safe. Thanks for the info,

I'm sure that there's Durex- "The international name for quality condoms."
I could be wrong, but the fact that they sell them here at our Walmart and advertise them heavily even as far away as New Delhi means that they'll have them in Russia...Doesn't it seem like a trip to Russia is an awfully long way just to go and screw ? |

| Ever think about bringing your own from home?50 of them (which you won't need) take up very little space. I agree with cook, it's a long way to go for a piece of ass. We have whores in the US to you know. |

most such things are generally available in Russia, as other hi-tech
countries. condoms sold the same way, in litlte packages in supermarkets
and pharmacies. At least, since Russians won't show emotion to strangers,
the cute little girl at the counter won't giggle or sneer at you.
FYI - M&M's and other Mars candy, orbit chewing gum, Wrigley's is also
common. |

Tdk,
Yes, they're here. They're called "preservativy" and there are definitely internationally recognized brands such as Durex and Lifestyles. You can find them probably 100% of the time in pharmacies, but you may see them in larger supermarkets at the checkout stand. |

Trust me, if you're going to be living in a Russian dorm, you're going to need good condoms. Fortunately, they can be found here now. |

Actually, i'm going to be staying with a host family. I haven't lived with a family in about 5 years, and i'm really hoping that they are more laid back about having, er, guests spend the night
I'll find out when I get off the train I guess.... |

Do you know what unisex means? It means 'not distinguished on the basis of sex' as in unisex bellbottoms or shoes.A unisex dorm is one that excepts people of both sexes and the transgendered.Oh yeah that's no fun!!!
Damn that altavista translator. |

Wow - I have been in Russia too long. When I saw the word "unisex," I thought "odnopolyy" in Russian, which means only one sex. Once upon a time, it seems, I did know the meaning of the English word "unisex," but apparently I'd forgotten. Thanks, Polska! |
