What is the usual cost for a tour around the city? Does it include museum tickets? Is there other fees that we should enclosed?

Please advise on reliable company.

An individual city sightseeing tour (3 hours, by car, without inside visits) would cost you $80-120 for a small group of individauls (1-3 persons). A group tour would be cheaper, around $15-25 per person.

The Hermitage museum tour would be around $30-50 (if you book only guide service). Entrance tickets cost about $13 for adults; free of charge for students.

Eugenia, you know everything about your hometown, St. Pete. And you're also very pleasant to provide foreigners penpals with complete informations. Someday I'll visit St. Pete and I'll be very glad if I can have your help directions. By the way, do the prices increase too much during the summertime as it happens in West Europe?
Thanks a lot. If you need anything from Brazil, just ask.

Not really. The prices do not increase much in summer time. In my last post I've given lowest for a winter price and highest for a summer price.
But still you can find some companies that do not increase prices for summer! Smile

You can hire a personal tour-guide (just for you or for your family or friends) for 50 - 70$ per day (from the company, not per person). The price doesn't change for summer and it ranges depending upon the guide and your agreement with him/her(you can always bargain). The price does not normally include a car, because between museums, sights and cafes (restaurants) it will be cheaper to take taxis. Museum fees are not encluded either. They are different for foreigners and for Russians. For foreigners they vary from 250 up to 500 (Hermitage) roubles. If you are a student, you get a discount. There is also one day a week in the Hermitage, when you can enter free of charge (no matter if you are Russian or not). I usually plan visiting the Hermitage for my clients for this very day.
