Hello to every one

I have a business multientry visa, because I often travel to Russia to my girlfriend.
I read and heard many many news about the need of HIV test negative certification.

I mean that at the border control the authorities can ask you such certification.

One time I heard that is needed only if I plan to stay more than 3 months.
One time I heard that is always needed for who have a multientry visa or generally a visa that lasts more than 3 months.
One time I heard that is needed like all the other documents when someone require a multientry visa at the embassy.

In my expecience I got a multientry visa in January and the Russian Embassy in Italy (I am Italian) didn't ask me that certificate.
I travelled 4 times (each time 4 or 5 days) in Russia and at the border control no one asked me the certificate.
So I can only think that the certificate is needed if I stay more than 3 months.

Do anyone have some precise informations ?
Do anyone know where I can get ones ?

Thank you
Giovanni

The last I heard, you only need it if you are planning to stay for more than three months. I have never been asked on shorter trips. I believe that if you are on any visa that does not specifically state that you have authorization to be in the country for more than three months, you are fine. The Embassy requires the certificate to issue the visa if you are planning on being there for longer than three months.
