Internet provider in st.petersburg..plz help

a_medico Frequent Guest Joined: 29 Dec 2003 Posts: 40 Location: India	Posted: Sat May 01, 2004 11:36 pm    Post subject: Internet provider in st.petersburg..plz help i shall b staying in st.petersburg till october 04. i stay in hostel.we dont have personal phone lines in room.so we cannot get a personal internet connection as there is no phone line... right now we know of only one option. that is peterstar ! peterstar has given us a line thro which they have given us an internet connection.but the charges of peterstar are too costly ! they charge around 80$ per mon that too for limited use (80$ for 1GB per mon bandwidth) ..if we exceed 1GB we have to pay extra !! is there any other option available by which i could get unlimited access irrespective of bandwidth...and ofcourse we dont have telephone line.no point in applying for telephone line right now as i shall be leaving in october. i have already contacted ROL but they insist on having telephone line first. site administor/other members, cud u suggest any better option? i live near vladimirskaya metro. amit
