Ok so can people still wear dresses in winter with elegant winter shoes (that you can only buy in Russia) or is it preferable to wear pants in winter, with a coat? I know this is silly I just don't know up to what minimum temperature you can still look glamorous? Ok describe your typical winter enable to me, please!

It is 55F (13C) today and most people would have no problems wearing flip-flops in this weather. Students (which I am) here wear them year-round when it is sunny. Just thought I would ask since I can walk forever in my flip-flops! I'll leave those out of the suitcase...

I remember I did dare to wear nylon stockings and a short skirt even at 0 deg C! I was fine because I had a good pair of boots and coat. But most of the time pants are worn because they are warmer.
