Mediashark. Ok so can people still wear dresses in winter with elegant winter shoes (that you can only buy in Russia) or is it preferable to wear pants in winter, with a coat? I know this is silly I just don't know up to what minimum temperature you can still look glamorous? Ok describe your typical winter enable to me, please!

People here wear flip-flops in weather much cooler than summers in St. Pete and Moscow. It is 55F (13C) today and most people would have no problems wearing flip-flops in this weather. Students (which I am) here wear them year-round when it is sunny. Just thought I would ask since I can walk forever in my flip-flops! I'll leave those out of the suitcase...

It is possible to wear dresses in winter, provided you have a warm-enough coat and the right leggings and boots. I remember I did dare to wear nylon stockings and a short skirt even at 0 deg C! I was fine because I had a good pair of boots and coat. But most of the time pants are worn because they are warmer.
