Posted: Fri Apr 30, 2004 3:27 pm    Post subject: Taking insulin injection needles into Russia I am a diabetic taking insulin injections. Because I will be carrying syringes, shoud I take the green line through customs or the red line. I wouldn't want to be accused of importing drug paphenalia. I do have a letter from my doctor listing all of my medications.

Did you have any problem getting your Visa? Did you use the new form? We haven't got ours yet. You are correct, we live in Kearney.

However, I don't know if you should take a green or red corridor. However, in any case you shouldn't worry: I've never heard about anybody having any problems with diabetic medicines on the border.

They sent us the forms which we filled out and sent back to them, they handled the rest. The cost was $335.00 for two, which included an extended guarantee and Fed Ex shipping charges. In case you want their number it is 800-638-1517. Hope you have a nice trip, we our going on the Peter the Great ship from Moskow to St. Petersburg. Braumeister
