How would you rate our moderating job performance? Just need to a little bit of feedback.

Agreed. You guys are doing a very good job staying on top of things, and have responded viligantly against spam. My only concern, though, is the forum becoming too heavily moderated - because the last thing anyone wants is another Big Brother monitoring all of our actions - and then reporting our suspicious activities to the authorities for immediate detainment Cool (just kidding). But yes, you've been well organized.

We don't need a Gulag, we have it's anarchist version already. It goes by the name 'not relevant' Very Happy

I gave you guys a good rating. It should be noted I've never been on a forum that had excellent moderation, including the board I moderate. Very Happy

A suggestion...
Some people have a habit of resurrecting ancient threads that are no longer relevant. Is is possible to automatically lock threads that have not been posted to for say 1 month?

DITTRICH: We have been thinking about these.. The threads are different though. Some of them can be resurrected without any problem because the subject remains relevant (e.g. Films), sometimes it is economical to ask a similar question in an older thread..

Locking threads can lead to unnecessary duplication of discussions too.

It's up to the user's responsibility to make new threads/re-use old ones for posts. I am not sure if we should make a forum rule on this or even turn to locking threads.
