msterlingprice Just Starting Joined: 12 May 2004 Posts: 1 Location: New Mexico	Posted: Wed May 12, 2004 10:23 am    Post subject: Questions about Registration, Residency Greetings, I will be obtaining a year-long multiple entry business visa starting in late June to work with an English language teaching firm in Moscow, and I have two questions pertaining to it: 1) There is a young lady there with whom I am in love, and should we decide to further this relationship, would it be at all possible to get a temporary residence visa so that I do not have to leave at the expiration of this visa without getting married? Or must I go home and have her go through the personal invitation process? Furthermore, this young lady still lives at home with her mother. Would I have lto live there with them, too? (In such a case it makes more sense to me just to get another year business visa). 2) I understand that one must leave Russia within six months of arrival and then re-enter the country. I will therefore spend this x-mas in Sweden, but I was wondering if there might be a problem with re-registration when I arrive back in Moscow because of the fact that I have only been able to reserve a seat on a flight in March (as no one is booking past this date). For instance, should my flight documentation be viewed upon re-entry, would they somehow be able to limit my registration period until the date of this departure even though the visa will be good until late June 2005? I really appreiciate the hard work you all have done here and for answering my questions. Thanks! M
