Have privat invitation from my friend in Russia (Irkutsk), but as I don't have much time will go only to Moscow. Can I register that visa in Moscow or is necessary to go to Irkutsk? It's not a short way:-) If it's possible, where in Moscow can I register it, can they do it in hotel, where we'll be staying?

You may try to register it in Moscow, but I'm not sure it's going to work. You could try to get a tourist visa instead, or take a flight to Irkutsk (about $160 one way - should be booked long before)
