Hi. Sent a similar message some days ago to visa@waytorussia but got no reply, so i'm posting this question here:

I'm portuguese and plan to get the tourism invitation from waytorussia partner agency, but would like to ask something so i can be sure i'll be 100% legal.

Here's what i will need soon: visa invitation from 21.07.2004 - 15.08.2004
Cities: Moscow (5 days, no hotel), Irkust, Ulan Ude

I plan to stay 5 days in Moscow and also register the visa with the partner agency in Moscow (before going by train to Siberia), but i WON'T be staying in a hotel in Moscow; i'd prefer to stay with people from hospitalityclub.org.

So, my questions are: what does the agency write in the visa suport (regarding hotels) so i can apply for a visa here in Portugal and have no problems later with the police in Russia, even not staying in a hotel? Will i be 100% legal? Or does i have to book at least one night in a hotel?

Thanks in advance,
Filipe Morato Gomes

You just need to make sure you will register your visa with the company when you arrive (either in Moscow or St. Petersburg -- it takes less time in St. Petersburg).

Then you will be 100% legal.
