hello

this may be a stupid qestion, but i coudn't find any infos on the usual sources....
how is the situation about lockers on the railway stations along the transsib route? (i'm mainly interested in ekaterinburg and novosibirsk) are there any? how many, is it difficult to find an emty one, and most important, how big are they?

there are lockers everywhere in Russia, most of them are manned and opened 24 hours (be careful -- with dinner and lunch breaks).

they are quite cheap (something like 1 Euro for standard size, 2 Euro for quite huge one. the one I used in Ulan-Ude was limitless, as it was just shelves, and remember that TransSib is used a lot by shoppers, and their bags are really huge, so the size of your luggage won't be a problem.

the lockers are usually located at train stations, or just outside. there are also lockers at bus stations and airports.
