Hi everyone. I'm married with my wife since one year and she is from Vladimir. She has my surname on both of her passports (Domestical and International). In addition, it's written on her passports that I'm married with her. She has Turkish and Russian citizenship but I have only Turkish cizitenship. 6 months later we'll have a child if there doesnt occur any problem. I have to go to Russia for several times. Therefore, I need a free enterance. What should I do first? Have can I get a permanent visa? The officers who work in OVIR in Vladimir dont know anything. By the way I have been in Russia for 6 months as a student. Please lead me anyhow.... Embarassed[/b]

You will need to obtain a visa.

There are a few options for you: a private visa, a tourist visa, a business visa.

1) A private visa can be made by your wife's parents in Vladimir (or by your wife, but only if she's a resident in Vladimir), it's only valid 3 months and is single entry. Obviously, it's not a good choice for you, especially that it involves a lot of queueing.

2) A tourist visa is very easy to get and is not expensive, but it is only valid for one month maximum and is mostly single entry. So, it doesn't seem a good option for you as well.

3) A business visa can be valid for up to 12 months, and can be multi entry. It is issued officially for those, who come to Russia to participate in conferences and business meetings, or to explore business opportunities, but is widely used for those tourists, who just want a longer and more flexible option, than the tourist visa. I think this is the best choice for you. You can apply for a business invitation in a tourist agency or this site, and then get a Russian business visa in a Russian consulate.

All these information I know. I can obtain visa easily. But I dont wanna get visa for each time to enter to Russia. To where I have to declerate my problem? Russian MID? I know also Russian language. They have to give me a card or paper like green card. Coz I have a Russian wife and I'm gonna have a child there. So all I need is a parmanent visa for now. Later within 5 years I may apply for Russian passport if I show that I live there. Please more help. Thanks for ur care...
