You my dear are such a breath of fresh air here.. I am happy for you thay you have this romance with a Russian woman. I think I am a good judge of characer and I KNOW that your heart is in the right place. God bless you... Keep the faith....

There is much negativity in the world, including this forum. But you have something special and I truly hope that the woman you are in love with will understand this and reciprocate. I know that you are not one of those scum sucking idiots just looking for a Russian woman for what ever.

Mr. Spice is filled with doubt and negativioty! Trust me, he is far from knowing heartfelt relationships with persons of cultural differences. He has lived in the states for 10 years but he still has strong feelings and attitudinal barriers to US and certainly other countries. I suspect he has made no close friends in NY especially Americans.

People can fault me for this but in all seriousness, since I joined WTR, I have invited a selected few of you to visit my part of the world at no cost. Meaning that I would enjoy having you as a house guest, My intention was genuine and discriminatory. I make my impressions right or wrong from inner perspective that reveals the important qualities that I seek in friendship. And while I am liberal, I do not just make blanket invitations.

I do not wish to be anal, ( it is not one my my aspiring qualities Smile

) BUT as I remeber here, I have only invited 3 WTR people to my home. These persons were 1st Paul Holmes, secondly our lovely Polska, and last, Mr. Spice.

People here can feel free to complain ABOUT NOT ONLY SERVICE, BUT KINDNESS, HOSPITALITY, GENOROISITY ETC.

Mr. Spice, you never even had the courteousy of acknoweledging my weekend invitation to you. Same goes with Paul Holmes, who I had at least in my mind and heart a friendly relationship. Well lessons be learned but I am happy there are people as open hearted etc. as this poster. I hope people will learn to be less cynical as some. Life is indeed short, mysterious and awesome. bUT UNLESS PEOPLE LEARN TO TRUST OTHERS, THEY WILL REMAIN IN FEAR.

Cyndy & Mr Spice, you are being like the devil and angel on Nigel shoulder. You know nothing about this girl and their relationship. It is unfair for us to comment. Some relationships are good from far and others are far from good.

Nigel, there is a seat sale on Aeroflot for 150USD round trip. A 6 month multientry visa will allow you to visit multiple times during your contract. Thread cutting, well some Russian Women are the best poker players you will ever see. Remember scissors to cut that thread is only $2USD

As I recall, you are in no position to stake any good claims on any relationships that you Sir Paul have tried to have with Russian women. This gentleman and yes he is by far more a gentleman than you, sorry but true. He I am certain will end up with a real loving partner. Cyndy: We are not close friends. You know nothing about me - and I know very little about you. Who you invite to your house is certainly up to you. Frankly, I prefer to go into homes of people I know in real life, rather than online via ocassional postings. I don't think you need to prove to anyone that you are a cincere and kind person. I don't think anyone here said that you were not, and I certainly did not say or imply that.

Let's not judge character (even if you are as as good of a judge as you claim) by online posts. You don't know anymore than me about these kinds of relationships. And I personally know people connected romantically with women in russia.

I think you read much more than necessary and appropriate into your online discussions with people here. I think you feel this is part of your life, while most other people, like me, have our own, personal lives outside of this forum and conisder this a hobby.

And, by the way, you live 3.5 hours away from me. What kind of aknowledgement did you expect anyway? I think I said something equivalent to the polite version of "thanks, but no, thanks"

$150 sounds a great deal, I can see only one tiny flaw in your plan....I live in the UK. A flight from here to Irkutsk is around £350 and imvolves two overnight flights and a 16 hour wait at the "delightful" airport in Moscow, where you can be met by the honest and reliable taxi toutes. I have been to Russia three times over the past 18 months they really need to sort the taxi drivers out, they give a terrible first impression to a wonderful country.

Cyndy..it's nice to hear from a kindred spirit, you are right, if we never trust we will never be truely free or happy. I too can't see the point of looking for an ulterior motive behind what people say. I am also sure you have plenty of friends in the "real" world and like me, probably friends you know you can count on because you trust eachother. Keep the faith.

I am happy for your optimism, nigel, same for you cyndy. MrSpice may not share the same optimism, but these are his thoughts and opinions and we will respect them. You may find a warning or two in him for the more sensible side of you as they are also thoughts from a relatively neutral, third party. Whatever your choice, nigel, it is yours and yours alone. If you have any travel-related questions, you'll find them here more often than not, regardless of your purpose of travel.

) You ask how eautiful she is, well, being objective I'd say she was very pretty as opposed to beautiful, but in my eyes she is a princess.It does seem a hopeless cause, but I won't give it up on account of practicalities, if things don't work out it will be for personal reasons.
