Any Problems with RentLine.ru?

I have booked a flat in Nizhny Novgorod via rentline.ru but have heard nothing from them since I booked on 22/09/2005, except for an automated e-mail. I do not know if they have accepted the booking. I have tried ringing them (3 times) but no-one answers the phone - just an answer machine. I have left a message for them but they do not reply. Anyone else any problems?

They usually reply in 24 hours though. Are you sure their reply is not in some sort of spam folder or is not blocked? Also, as far as I know, they process the orders only if you make the reservation payment. Did you do it?

I have no junk-mail filter and no blocks on any incoming mail. The only e-mail I have received is payment authorisation for the $60 deposit, but they have not taken any payment yet.

That was the first contact I had from rentline.ru since I made the booking! Very poor service. They did not respond to my phone calls and only when I actually got to speak to someone was any action taken on my booking to contact the manager of the flat to see if the flat was vacant! I would not recommend rentline.ru.

Today I sent an E-Mail cancelling my request for accommodation, but this was returned as undeliverable because the recipient was over their quota! I cannot fill in the on-line query form as it is only available in Russian.

I made a total of seven phone calls in that last few minutes. Five of them got cut off whilst I was waiting in a queue. One call was answered by someone who could not speak English (I thought the given phone number was for English speakers). Finally, I did get through but only to answer machine again, so it seems I can only cancel my order by leaving a message on an answer machine! I think the quality of service offered by rentline.ru can only be detrimental to this website!

We cannot reach them thru one of out e-mail addresses but through hotmail it seems to go through. I have tried calling to 800 number as well, I have had to most luck reaching someone late in the afternoon - calling from North America, if that's where you are. I imagine due to the time changes they don't always have staff on to answer. We were told by them that they are undergoing some payment changes and they will not be able to take online payments anymore and that a contract would be sent from the landlord. We are still waiting for confirmation for the apartment in Petersburg, but the Moscow one was confirmed about 2 weeks ago and they have not billed my credit card.
