Me and my friends wanted to make a travel to Europe hopefully soon, all of my friends wish to make around Europe and see the sights, I want to see Moscow, but it seems train tickets are expensive even from the Ukraine area, is it worth the train ticket money? I love the russian lang. and i would love to go russia, but it seems in an unstable state, and it seems there is alot of red tape that goes along with the travel exp. Any comments or advice?

You'll all need visas to get into Russia, arranged in advance. The train ride will be long and less commodious than in other countries.

But if you have the gumption, go for it. Russia is nothing like the rest of Europe. Nothing. Russia is Russia. There is no place like it, it is unique and huge and extraordinary.

I don't see it as unstable at all. There is a lot of red tape but if you follow along with their program all the paperwork is manageable. You will need to prepare and research for such a trip months ahead. Good luck..

Eeves,
I agree with ex, Russia is more than a country to visit on a european tour. It takes planning and a visit there should be a trip in itself. Yes there is a lot of red tape, but it can be done easily. This web site offers all the info and contacts you may need. Just take the time to read all about visas and registration. You mentionned something about the language. Do you intend to take lessons, or just learn a few words to get by?
I truly believe that a trip to Russia is worth it and that it will change you.
Cheers,
Bob
