And blessedly the insta-ice went with it. But you're in luck! The forcast is for below freezing and snow starting Nov. 21. Bring a hat. Or buy one here--Russia has beautiful hats.

Though I have to admit, my days are rather lonely and tiresome (makes me feel utterly, utterly homesick) cause my friends have to work (or go to university).

THANK GOD!! I know, I know I sound like a crazy person but hell, I'm someone who came from a country where it's 35 degrees celsius all year round!!!

Here it's -20 or so but our cold weather just started and our first snowfall (that stuck around for more than a day or two) was only a few days ago. Global warming anyone? I know that every year in Canada the winters seem to get shorter and warmer, anyone in Russia notice that too?
