Comrades
I was recently in Siberia and Russia. While I was there I withdrew money from my Irish bank account on a few occassions. The rate in banks and currency exchanges was 34 roubles to ˆ1. However when I got home the automatic rate I got was only 30 roubles per ˆ. In addition I was charged a commission per transaction of ˆ1.30.
Be aware of this 10% ripoff.

it would be helpful if you let us know which bank is being used, and which ATMs you used.
oh the bank charges for transactions!! what a ripoff!!! horror! |
