| I've heard rumors of their existence in Russia, but while I'm there, I really miss a good rectagular-shaped pillow. Those oversized, square ones just don't do it for me. |

Yeah that would also annoy me, because I am the type of person who doesnt use the middle of the pillow, I use the sides, and im a stomach sleeper who likes to grab the pillow lol. That would drive me nuts! |

Use a real feather one. Those polyester fibers pillows are a joke. |

I actually despise the feather pillows, simply because they need to be punched into proper shape every time I move my head Also I never flip my pillow, I always use one side, and one direction! YES IM A WEIRDO |

While in Russia I missed my dog most of all. I also missed that my Laptop was connected to the Internet... what else...well I lived in Petersburg and I loooved it, but having grown up in a hilly/mountain area I actually missed waking up and seeing mountains at the horizon. Oh well, next highbuilding had to do...
(Having just returned I think I'd be easier for me to write about what I miss from Piter/Russia ) |

| I don't think it would have been too hard to find a place with wireless internet for you in St. Petersburg.... |

| I thought the big square pillows were cool. I like feather pillows and I flip them all night to get a cool spot. I think someone should invent a chilloed feather pillow. |

I didn't like them at first, until babushka gave us two huge 70x70cm homemade down feather pillows for our housewarming gift and they had the right amount (lots) of down and didn't need too much punching and fluffing up. |

I like those pillows. We should start a separate thread dedicated to them |

I don't mind using either type - downed or foam. Just as long as the cases, bedsheets and mattress are clean . . . with no bugs or other crawlies - and I'm perfectly content.
When traveling abroad I usually try not to think about what's left behind too much. Actually, it's aspects about the other cultures I miss when returning home. |
