It should be half past midnight in Moscow right now. All the best to you in a hopefully prosperous 2006. Now behave!
Six hours and counting . . . 'till drinking time. |

A year ago from this moment my wife and I were walking down Novy Arbot with beers in hand celebrating the New Year. What a great time! Fireworks going off all over and people in the streets drinking. I gotta say, Russians are sure into their New Year's celebration.
Happy New Year everybody! |

I am going over to a friend for the new year's celebration and I am looking forward to tasting his incredible home-made wine!
I wish I were in Russia though, it is so much more fun to celebrate the new year there.
Happy new year everyone!!! |

| I happen to make my own beer( hence the name Mr. Barley) so that's what I'll be doing tonight. I'm not much for Russian beer though. |

Hope everyone enjoyed their celebrations last night. I had a pretty good time even though I ended up getting separated from some friends, but I met some new people and partied with them. I regret not having returned to Moscow for Novy God, but there's plenty more of them left for me.
S novym godom! |

Curious Casey if you had the chance to visit outside of Moscow and see what the other part of Russia is like?
Go see what life in the villiage is like. It is much different than the City pace of Moscow. |
