Accurately, I want to get some information about studying abroad in Russia (I cannot speek Russian at all), and more about this country as well.

I will be going to university next fall. I've just spent six months in Petersburg and had a faboulous time... I consider doing maybe 2 semesters exchange to Russia (no definite plans yet). Is it difficult for foreigners to get into Russian universities? Do they help with visas? Is it expensive? I speak Russian quite well now (passed the exam that is supposedly a minimum requirement for Russian universities very well) and of course plan on keeping on learning, so that won't be a problem... Thanks in advance for any inputs!

I've met students from a variety of countries (Switzerland, Iceland, USA) studying in Russia. You can find some info and contact St. Petersburg State University at: http://www.spbu.ru/e/ Applicants are supposed to pass a Russian test.The students I've mentioned learned Russian at a private language school: it's faster and more fun than Uni courses. You can find the school at: www.learnrussian.ru BTW, what would you like to study?
